Travel Grants

 

 

DRNC 2016 offers grants with the following characteristics:

  • 2 travel grants for oversea students (outside Europe).
    The applicant must be the author or a co‐author of a paper/poster accepted for publication at DRCN 2016.
    The amount of the travel grant is 500 Euros each and it aims at partially covering travel costs. Recipients of the grants will have to be registered and they will get paid the grant during the conference when they attend.

  • 3 conference registrations for MSc or PhD students in communication networks in a French laboratory.
    These grants are provided the CNRS GdR RSD and do not cover travel expenses. Students will have to register and will be reimbursed by the CNRS GdR RSD (Réseaux & Systemes Distribués).

  • 3 conference registrations for MSc or PhD students in operations research in a French laboratory.
    These grants are provided the CNRS GdR RO and do not cover travel expenses. Students will have to register and will be reimbursed by the CNRS GdR RO (Récherche Operationnelle).

 an application containing:

  • name, contact information and country;
  • institution, academic program (M.Sc or Ph.D) he/she is currently attending;
  • paper ID, title and type (paper/poster) if the applicant is an author AND an oversea student;
  • a motivation letter that briefly summarizes the applicant's current research interests and accomplishments and explains how participating in DRCN 2016 will be beneficial (as regards the technical program);
  • A copy from registration confirmation
